Helping Provo's Brightest Children Reach Their Potential

Mission Statement

PAGC Logo.JPG

The Provo Association for Gifted Children (PAGC) is a non-profit organization for parents, students, and educators dedicated to meeting the needs of academically advanced, gifted, and talented children in the Provo School District.  We are a local affiliate of the Utah Association for Gifted Children (UAGC).

We assert that every child has the right to learn and be challenged at his or her own level.  We also promote the concept that educating our academically advanced and gifted youth to their fullest potential is not only their right but ultimately benefits all children.

Purpose

It is only with your help and support that we can continue to:

  • Raise public awareness for the needs of gifted children.
  • Disseminate information to school personnel and public officials related to the nature and education of gifted children
  • Serve as public advocates concerning the needs of gifted children.
  • Promote research and development on the nature and education of gifted children at all ages and educational levels.
  • Encourage and assist the development of programs for academically advanced and gifted children in the Provo School District.
