A Voice--PAGC representatives worked on a Provo School District appointed task force (2000-2002) and created a continuum of services to help guide the district in providing programs for academically advanced and gifted children. The work of convincing individual principals and school staffs to provide these services continues. PAGC representatives are needed in every school to continue the work started by the Gifted and Talented Task Force.
Advocacy--We accomplish more and have stronger impact in our school district by working together.
Information--We will provide you with information on activities and programs for the gifted and ideas on how parents and educators can better meet the needs of academically advanced and gifted children.
Membership Meetings--We will have membership meetings where we will hear from leaders in gifted education, disseminate information and coordinate our efforts to improve gifted education in our district.
UAGC Membership--You will become an automatic member of the Utah Association for Gifted Children. With this membership you will receive:
